Jeff has been retained by Founders, CEOs and Product Directors as an independent Product Strategy consultant. In this capacity he accelerated his clients' commercial performance by solving such strategic problems as: finding product-market fit and identifying and prioritising new addressable markets.
Jeff advised the Founder on an approach to take his ambitious vision down to the essentials to meet the immediately identified market need and at the same time differentiate against competitor services. This work led to the launch of one of the largest global databases of current and historical Oil & Gas deals based on publicly sourced intelligence.
Jeff worked with a large wholesale carrier to identify new revenue opportunities from their suite of communications services. Jeff recommended the integration of their Inbound product to SIP Trunking to enable cross-sell and differentiation against other SIP Trunking services. This advisory led to the development and launch of the product SIP Trunk Call Manager.
For this project the exam question was: What should this client do about the emerging strength of Microsoft Teams? Jeff advised on the market opportunity as well as the emerging Microsoft technology which could be utilised by the client to allow them to build on their existing services to enter the market. This project led to the development and launch of Microsoft Teams Direct Routing.
